How to create a simple AI voice assistant using VoiceVision.

How to Enable the Simple Voice Option in VoiceVision

If you’re looking to enhance your AI assistant with voice capabilities, this tutorial will guide you through enabling the Simple Voice Option in just a few steps. Follow along to bring your AI assistant to life with text-to-speech and speech-to-speech functionality!

Step 1: Navigate to Settings

Once logged in to your VoiceVision account, head over to the Assistants page. Here, find the assistant you want to update and click the Settings icon to open its configuration settings.

Step 2: Enable Voice Option

Inside the settings menu, navigate to the Voice section under General Settings. Here, toggle the Enable Voice Option to turn on voice functionality for your assistant.

Step 3: Choose a Voice

Select a Voice Name from the available options. To ensure the best match for your assistant, you can preview each voice by clicking the Play icon next to it. Once you find the perfect voice, select it.

Step 4: Set Speech Character Limit

Define the Maximum Character Limit for Speech. This setting determines how much text the text-to-speech feature will process at one time.

Step 5: Adjust Speech Threshold

Set the Minimum Speech Threshold between 1 to 10. This value helps the system recognize the microphone's speech frequency and improve voice detection accuracy.

Step 6: Save Settings

After finalizing your configurations, click the Save button to apply the voice settings.

Conclusion

🎉 Congratulations! Your AI assistant now has voice capabilities enabled. You can now interact with it using voice commands for a more engaging experience.

Additional Tip: Understanding Simple Voice vs. Real-Time Voice
