An AI Assistant on a webpage (with voice-enabled features or a talking avatar) is a powerful tool for enhancing visitor experience. Create your AI Assistant
To create your AI Assistant, follow these steps:
- Open: https://voicevision.chat/assistant
- Click on the "New Assistant" button.
- Choose Assistant type - Simple Assistant or RAG-Enabled Assistant.
- Display Name: Assign a name for your assistant, this name will be displayed on the dashboard.
- Welcome Message: Write a message that will be sent to all users when they start a conversation.
- Instruction Prompt: Provide a instruction prompt for assistant, this prompt provides guidance to your assistant on how to behave.
- Choose your knowledge file : Select one or multiple knowledge files for the AI to use in searching for specific content. If you selected a Simple Assistant, this option will be unavailable.
- AI Model: Choose an AI model that will generate responses.
- Voice: Enable Voice option for your assistant (for Voice Enabled Assistant).
- Vision: Enable Vision option for your assistant (To display media references alongside the assistant's responses). Choose one or more media collections from the list to assign to your assistant.
- Other language: To use a language other than English, select the custom language option for your assistant.
- Passcode protection: Enable passcode protection for your assistant.
- Chat history: Enable chat history for your assistant.
- Error Message: Enter default error message for your assistan (The message that will be displayed when the assistant encounters an error and can't reply to a user)
- Create: Click on the "Create" button to create your assistant.
Assistant Settings
After creating your AI Assistant, you can access its settings by clicking on the "Settings" button on the assistants dashboard. Here, you can make changes to various settings such as:
- General settings: Change the assistant's display name, welcome message, instruction prompt, and other general settings.
- Advanced settings: Customize the Assistant's Max Prompt Tokens, enabling or disabling Branding label, enabling or disabling File Attachement, and configuring Custom Domain.
- Customization settings: Customize the Assistant's chat window, background, and other visual elements.
- User Inquiry settings: Enabling or disabling user inquiry and configure the inquiry form input labels.
- Functions: Enabling or disabling functions for your assistant.
- Avatar Settings: Enabling or disabling AI talking avatar, change the assistant's avatar and other configuration.
