In this tutorial, we'll guide you through creating an AI-powered interview simulation using our platform. Whether you're preparing for a job interview, refining a sales pitch, or conducting a product presentation, VoiceVision allows you to build realistic, interactive conversation simulations.
Step 1: Getting Started
First, log into your VoiceVision account and navigate to the Assistant Dashboard. Click on the New Assistant button to begin the setup.
Step 2: Creating Your AI Interview Assistant
Select Simple Assistant – This will provide a structured interview experience without external knowledge storage.
Click Next to proceed.
Enter a Display Name – For this tutorial, we'll name it Full Stack Developer Interview Mock Session.
Add a Welcome Message – This message will appear before the interview starts to introduce the session to candidates.
Input the Instruction Prompt – Clearly define the interview structure, including steps, requirements, tone, feedback, and evaluation criteria.
Select an AI Model – We recommend GPT-4o Mini for optimal performance.
Enable Voice Feature – Choose a voice name to map to the 3D avatar.
Click Save to store these initial settings.
Step 3: Fine-Tuning Settings
To enhance your AI interview simulation, follow these steps:
Click on the Settings Icon from the Assistant Dashboard.
Navigate to Advanced Settings and enable the following options:
Real-time AI Voice Assistant – Enables real-time interactive conversations.
Hide Chat Thread – Ensures the 3D avatar is displayed correctly.
Push to Talk – Allows users to hold a button while speaking for a smoother interaction.
Click Save to apply these changes.
Step 4: Setting Up the 3D Avatar
Go to Avatar Settings and enable 3D Avatar.
Choose one of the predefined avatars or create a custom one using Ready Player Me:

Create your avatar using a face picture or manually customize it.
Choose a professional appearance based on your interview role.
Click Next and copy the GLB file URL.
Return to VoiceVision and paste the GLB file URL into the designated field.
Click Save to finalize your avatar setup.
Step 5: Testing Your AI Interview Simulation
Go back to the Assistant Dashboard.
Click on the Chat Icon to initiate the AI interview session.
