Step 1: Access the Assistants Page

Log in to your VoiceVision account and navigate to the Assistants page. Here, you can create a new AI assistant by clicking the ‘New Assistant’ button.

Step 2: Choose an Assistant Type

You will now see two options for creating an assistant:

✅ Simple Assistant – Works with an instruction prompt without separate knowledge storage. ✅ RAG-Enabled Assistant – Uses external knowledge storage like PDFs, Docs, and website imports for smarter AI responses.

For this tutorial, we’ll create a Simple Assistant with the real-time voice option enabled.

Step 3: Configure Basic Settings

Enter your assistant’s display name and a welcome message to greet users.

Your instruction prompt should clearly define the assistant’s tasks, purpose, and context to ensure accurate and relevant responses.

Step 4: Select an AI Model

Choose an AI model for your assistant. We recommend GPT-4o-mini for optimal performance, especially for website assistants.

Step 5: Enable Real-Time Voice Option

To activate voice capabilities, toggle on the voice option and select a voice from the available options. You can preview each voice before selecting one that suits your assistant best.

The selected voice will be mapped directly to your real-time voice settings, ensuring seamless speech-to-text and text-to-speech interactions.

Step 6: Finalize and Launch

Once all configurations are set, click ‘Create’ to finalize your assistant. 🎉
